How does yoga
changes lives?
Yoga has been changing lives for over 4,000 years.
In India, nearly 300 million people practice it as a preventive medicine.
These millions of people come to their mats with one goal: to feel better by taking care of their bodies and their psychological well-being.
Yoga revolutionizes their daily lives by offering them a transformative tool to improve their physical health AND their mental health.
"Yogas chitta vritti nirodha" is a sutra from Patanjali's book, a collection of 195 aphorisms that form the foundation of yoga philosophy. It can be translated as "Yoga calms the fluctuations of the mind."
It was during his first Hot Yoga class that Pierre, the founder of Yoga Room, experienced a life-changing moment. As described by Patanjali, his mind became calm and clear about the path he wanted to pursue.
Since that first class, his mission and that of his entire team have been crystal clear: to spark the flame of yoga in people's hearts.
How? By making this practice accessible to as many people as possible!
Yoga,
a universal practice
Regardless of your level, age, gender, or body type. Yoga practice adapts to EVERYONE.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of the most common reasons why our members come to the mat:
"I want to relieve stress and relax."
"I have trouble sleeping."
"I want to maintain my body."
"I want to stay healthy."
"I can't concentrate, my mind wanders."
"I have digestive problems."
"I often get sick."
"I find it challenging to control my emotions and keep a balance."
If you identify with these words, yoga is for you. The key is to choose the right class.
Need to learn the basics of yoga to start your practice with confidence? A Hatha or Yoga Foundation class would be perfect for you.
Need gentleness and calm? Opt for Yin and Sound Therapy.
But beware of misconceptions! Yoga practice is also a form of exercise!
As often heard at Yoga Room... "What does not challenge you does not change you."
When you take your first Hot Yoga or Power Flow class, you will see that yoga goes far beyond gentle and relaxing practices.
Get ready to sweat and feel some soreness in the following days.
Yoga also combines perfectly with other disciplines such as running, boxing, cycling, climbing, and will undoubtedly enhance your performance!

99% of the journey is already done once you're on the mat!
The advantage of yoga compared to other sports practices is that we value empathy.
No judgment, no competition.
The essential thing is to be there, on your mat, and do your best as regularly as possible.
Once you arrive at the studio, all you have to do is experience your class, being present and engaged, based on your energy of the day.
The collective energy and the group's kindness are also true boosters, you'll see!
If you're afraid you won't be able to practice regularly, no pressure!
There are many reasons that can prevent us from being consistent: another practice, a lack of time, or simply the course of life that makes it difficult to make yourself available as much as you would like.
Is your goal to come three times a week? Don't beat yourself up if you don't achieve it.
Instead, congratulate yourself for coming once, remember why you would like to reach this goal, and plan your following week to continue on this path!
Give yourself a chance to
change your daily life
The Discovery Pass really gives you a chance to come and practice as many times as possible to experience the benefits of yoga, which are noticeable very quickly.
You can choose from 5 studios and over 300 classes per week, and get personalized advice from our amazing team on-site.
The teachers we have the privilege to collaborate with are true enthusiasts from all around the world.
With years of experience teaching their practice, they will help you explore the postures safely, feeling supported and guided.
The practice environment is also very important.
That's why we welcome you to spacious, bright, and warm studios, open 7 days a week from morning to evening.
Depending on the class, the practice will take place in one of our rooms, some of which are heated by heating panels for Hot Yoga practices.
A rest area allows you to gather around an infusion to relax and exchange before and after sessions.
The changing rooms are equipped with showers and lockers, shower gel, shampoo, hair ties, and a hairdryer.
You only need your yoga outfit, a water bottle, and your towel for heated practices (also available for rent in case of forgetfulness!)
STUDIOS
Over 40,000 members have
